Pink Floyd had it right

Their music instills a sense of overlapping dissonance connected with a slight pinch of upbeat funk and smoothed over with rhythms that run through all their songs

Chaotic

Odd

Hard to listen to at times but at others a euphoric psychedelic feeling emits from the stereo where the tiny band plays

Cigar smoke drifting from their lips

Through the speaker

And into my mind 

Clouding it over

Life is much like a Pink Floyd song

Beautiful yet disturbing

Heartfelt but misunderstood

Sad but uplifting

So life goes

A long un ending highway of high notes wrong turns and cast of characters and band mates you don’t choose

A building crescendo with no grand end in sight and nothing but the distance ticking of father times clock

In perfect beat with the lead guitarists off beat strokes of uneven and

Broken chords.

I use to listen to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon album every night when I went to bed, it's weird and off putting yet calming chords sending me off to sleep.
